First South: Pay-Per-Click Advertising

Kelley & Associates’ Google Ads are Effective and Efficient. 

First South Financial was among the first Tennessee credit unions to offer a full line of mobile services, predicting the rise of a new banking experience that begins online. Today, 55% of consumers looking for new banking products start by searching on Google. 

First South tasked Kelley & Associates with reaching these consumers through pay-per-click advertising. We launched Google Ads campaigns in 2016 to deliver targeted messages to interested consumers based on the keywords they’re searching and the content they’re browsing. 

Our goal is to attract more quality clicks from key users that lead to awareness, engagement and eventually conversion. Here’s a sample of our recent results. 

Memphis Google Ads – From June 20th, 2018 to September 30th, 2018 compared to the previous period (March 9th to June 19th)

  • Reduced Ad Spend 9.67%

  • Increased Website Visitors 41.36%

  • Reduced Bounce Rate 32.23%

Jackson, TN Google Ads – From June 18th, 2018 to September 30th, 2018 compared to the previous period (March 5th to June 17th)

  • Reduced Ad Spend 10.47%

  • Increased Website Visitors 71.70%

  • Reduced Bounce Rate 1.31%

Our strategy is simple, yet intricate — to generate more leads by promoting unique offers, choosing relevant keywords, leveraging key demographics, customizing landing pages — and most importantly, monitoring and optimizing each component of our campaign every day. 

Furthermore, we’ve implemented end-to-end conversion tracking to accurately evaluate our ROI. By tracking how many people see our ads, click on them, and take action — we can attribute conversions to traffic source and learn which ads are performing the best.
